We are a community-based club with all members belonging to an ethnic community from Kerala, a southwest state in India. We have over 1,000 families in the Hunter region, with the majority based in the Maitland area, including Chisholm (over 300 families), East Maitland, Thornton, and wider. For the past seven years, we've filled multiple grades for the Tenambit Morpeth Cricket Club. Last year alone, over 60 players from our community registered for TMCC, representing three and a half teams. With at least 50 new families moving into the Maitland area since the start of this year, we anticipate many more will join us soon. Given our growing community, we recognized the importance of becoming independent and decided to join the Maitland District Cricket as our own team.
